The Elizabeth City Foundation administers four scholarship funds that award scholarships to students residing in Camden and Pasquotank Counties:
- The Bess Tillett/P. P. Gregory Scholarship Fund provides funds for college expenses for students residing in Camden County. Applications are due each year by March 1st. Award notices are typically sent out by May 1st of each year.
- The Ray S. Jones Scholarship Fund provides funds for college expenses for students residing in Camden or Pasquotank County who are planning to, or are attending Wake Forest University, NC State University or the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Applications are due each year by March 1st. Award notices are typically sent out by May 1st of each year.
- The William K. Wassink Scholarship Fund provides funds for college expenses for students residing in Camden or Pasquotank Counties who are majoring in pre-medical studies or are enrolled in medical school. Applications are due each year by March 1st. Award notices are typically sent out by May 1st of each year.
- The Phil and Isabelle Sawyer Scholarship provides funds for college expenses for students residing in Pasquotank County who are planning to, or are attending Wake Forest University. Applications are due each year by March 1st. Award notices are typically sent out by May 1st of each year.
