The Elizabeth City Foundation supports community and civic projects in Elizabeth City and the surrounding communities.  Examples of past projects supported by the Foundation:

• Care of the sick, aged or helpless
• Improving living conditions
• Helping provide food for the hungry
• Meeting unmet educational needs
• Providing recreation for all ages

Grant applications are reviewed by the Foundation Board of Directors at their fall meeting.  Applicants are notified of grant award decisions within two weeks of the Board meeting.
 
      Grant applications are due September 15th.

A complete grant application consists of:

• A completed grant application form
• A brief summary of the proposed project
• Mission statement of the applicant organization
• Explanation of organization's impact on community
• Organization's most recent fiscal year budget
